With the pandemic being the main focal point of our lives since early 2020, SEIC hosted a panel session last Friday that touched on an extremely relevant topic, "Economic trends and social security post Covid-19".

We were very honoured to have Dr. Jamus Lim, Dr. Walter Theseira, and Dr. Giovanni Ko joining us for our 5th SPECtrum Session (Panel Discussion), moderated by Dr. Madhav Aney.

 

The feedback of the event was overwhelmingly positive and the students walked away with fresh and insightful perspectives.

SEIC’s Research Analyst program had driven me towards pursuing my passion towards studying in the field of economics, through reading global economic current affairs, interpreting trends and graphs, and intellectually challenging me in applying economic theories learned in SMU modules in inferring, analyzing and suggesting potential recommendations and solutions.
